PNG to JPG converts PNG images into JPG files, which are smaller and open on practically any device or website. A blogger might convert heavy PNG screenshots before uploading them, and an estate agent might convert PNG exports from a design app because the listings portal only accepts JPG.
Add your PNG files from your device, Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive, several at a time if you like, up to 260 MB each. JPG is at the top of the Convert to list and marked Recommended. Click it and each PNG becomes a JPG with the same name. Download them one by one, rename them, or send them straight on.
PNG keeps every pixel exactly, which is great for editing but makes photos and busy screenshots heavy. The same picture saved as JPG is usually much smaller, so it uploads faster and fits under attachment limits.
JPG is also the format older software, photo kiosks and many web forms expect. If a site rejects your picture as the wrong file type, converting to JPG normally sorts it out.
JPG cannot store transparency. If your PNG is a logo with a see-through background, the empty areas are filled in when it becomes a JPG. Keep the PNG for logos, or use WebP from the same list if the destination accepts it.
For a picture that is still too large after converting, use Continue with this file to send it to Compress Image, or to Resize Image if the site wants particular pixel dimensions.
