Resize Image changes the pixel dimensions of a photo or graphic, by percentage, to an exact width and height, or to a ready-made social media size. It suits jobs like a 600×600 profile photo or a 6000-pixel camera shot that has to shrink for a website.
Add one image or several by dropping them in, or pick them from your device, Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive (up to 260 MB each). Then choose how to resize. Percentage uses a slider from 5% to 200% and shows the new size in pixels as you move it. Exact size takes a width and height; leave the lock on and the other side follows, so nothing gets squashed. Social media applies a preset. Press Resize image, then download the result or open it in Crop Image with Continue with this file.
With the lock off you get three fit choices. Fit inside keeps the whole picture within your box. Fill & crop fills the box exactly and trims whatever doesn't fit. Stretch forces the exact numbers even if that distorts the image. The social presets cover Instagram posts and Stories, a YouTube thumbnail (1280×720), a Facebook cover, a LinkedIn banner and a 600×600 profile photo. These fill the frame and centre the picture, so some edges may be trimmed.
Scaling up past 100% gives you more pixels but can't add detail the camera never captured, so start from the largest original you have. If the goal is a smaller file rather than smaller dimensions, for example to get under an upload limit, resize first and then run Compress Image.
