WebP to JPG converts WebP images, the format many websites now serve, into ordinary JPG files that open in any photo viewer, email client or upload form. It helps when you save a picture from a web page and your editing app, print software or a government portal refuses the .webp file.
Add your WebP files by dropping them on the page or choosing them from your device, Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. You can add several at once, and each can be up to 260 MB. JPG sits at the top of the Convert to list, marked Recommended. Press it and each image is converted in turn, with a download for every one. Each file keeps its original name, so product-photo.webp becomes product-photo.jpg. From the result you can rename it, send it on WhatsApp, or open it in Compress Image with Continue with this file.
WebP makes web pages load faster, which is why browsers and site builders like it. Plenty of software hasn't caught up. Older photo editors and viewers, some print shop upload pages, and many job and visa portals that ask for JPG only will refuse it, and some messaging apps show a WebP as a file rather than a picture. Converting to JPG gives you a file that works in all of those places.
The Convert to list isn't limited to JPG. The same WebP can become a PNG if you need to keep a transparent background, since JPG can't store transparency and fills it in. HEIC, TIFF, GIF, AVIF and BMP are under More formats. And if you'd rather have the images in a document, choose PDF, or One PDF to combine several pictures into a single file.
