Crop Image lets you trim a photo or screenshot to just the part you want by dragging a box over it. Use it to cut out a chat message from a screenshot, square up a profile picture, or remove a messy edge before sharing.
Drop the image on the page or choose it from Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. A crop box appears over the middle of the picture. Drag it to move it and pull the corners to resize it until only the area you want is inside. Press the crop button, then download the image, rename it, or send it on WhatsApp. Press Crop again to adjust.
A support agent crops a customer's screenshot down to the error message. A seller on a marketplace crops product photos so the item fills the frame. A student crops a photo of a whiteboard to leave out the classroom around it.
Start from the largest version of the picture you have, since cropping keeps only part of it. The cropped image is cut at the picture's full resolution, not the smaller preview you see on screen. If you need an exact pixel size afterwards, for example 1080 by 1080 for Instagram, continue with Resize Image, and use Compress Image if the file is still too big to upload.
