HEIC to JPG converts iPhone photos from Apple's HEIC format into JPG files that open on Windows, Android, older software and upload forms that reject HEIC. You can convert a whole batch of photos in one go.
Drop your HEIC photos on the page, or choose them from Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. Add as many as you need. JPG is suggested first in the list, so press it to convert. Each photo gets its own download, or use the option to download them all together. Rename files, send them on WhatsApp, or continue with Compress Image to make them smaller.
A job applicant's passport photo won't upload because the portal only accepts JPG. A grandparent on a Windows laptop can't open the photos sent from an iPhone. An eBay seller needs listing photos in a format the site accepts. A teacher collects HEIC pictures from a school trip for the newsletter.
HEIC stores photos at about half the size of JPG, which saves space on the phone, but many apps and websites still can't read it. JPG opens almost everywhere. The same list also offers PNG, WebP, TIFF and other formats if a site asks for something else. To keep photos as JPG from now on, set Camera, Formats to Most Compatible on your iPhone.
