Resize PDF changes the page size of a PDF, for example from US Letter to A4, and scales each page's content to fit the new sheet. It fixes documents that print with clipped margins.
Add the PDF by dropping it on the page or choosing it from your device, Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive (up to 260 MB). The tool shows the current page size first. Pick the new size: A4 (210 × 297 mm), Letter (8.5 × 11 in), Legal (8.5 × 14 in), A3 or A5. Then set the orientation. Follow each page keeps each page's own orientation, while Portrait or Landscape forces every page one way. Press Change to A4 (or your chosen size) and download the new file.
Paper sizes differ by region. A contract drafted in the US on Letter paper can print with clipped footers on an A4 printer in Dubai or London. Resizing to the local size avoids that. It also helps when a scanned A5 receipt sits among A4 reports and you want every page to match.
Each page is scaled to fit the new size and centred, so nothing is cut off. When the proportions of the old and new sizes differ (Letter is a little wider and shorter than A4), you get a thin margin on two sides rather than stretched text. Going from A4 to A5 shrinks small print, so check it is still readable.
