Add Page Numbers puts clean, consistent numbers on every page of a PDF, so a thesis, contract or legal bundle can be cited as 'see page 12'. You see each number on the page thumbnails before anything is saved.
Drop your PDF on the page, or pick it from Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. You can add more than one PDF and drag the pages into the order you want. Choose one of six positions (top or bottom, left, centre or right), a format such as '1', 'Page 1' or 'Page 1 of 9', the number to start at, the text size and the colour. Press Add page numbers, then download the file, rename it, or send it on WhatsApp.
A student numbers a dissertation before it goes to the print shop for binding. A solicitor's assistant numbers an exhibit bundle so everyone in a hearing can find the same page. An office manager numbers a merged tender pack so the client's questions can point to exact pages.
Tick 'Skip the first page' when the front page is a cover that shouldn't carry a number. The count then begins on page two. If your document is the second volume of a set, set 'Start at' to 101 or whatever follows on from the first part.
